Epoxy Resin is very durable and strong, making it a great choice for items that need to be able to take some wear and tear. It also has excellent chemical resistance (meaning it can prevent chemicals from seeping into the item), which makes epoxy resin one of the best materials when you want something like an outdoor storage box or workbench. There are many other pros of using epoxies but if your project requires high-temperature resistance (for example if you are using it as part of machinery) then epoxide might not be right for this application because its heat tolerance is limited at best. In addition, while epoxies do have excellent chemical resistance, they are not generally resistant to solvents.

Also, epoxy resins are not very flexible and do tend to be brittle, which might make them more likely to crack or break.
